WEC is one of the first companies in China gaining the right of foreign economic cooperation and foreign trade, mainly engaging in international chemical industry and related technical consultation, engineering design, engineering contract and trade business.
    On the early stage of Chinese reform, WEC began to seek international economic cooperation. In 1979, it was the first time in China that WEC dispatched  forty-member workgroup to Holland to jointly design with Holland company for introducing Holland STAMICARBON urea production technology. Meanwhile WEC also introduced internationally accepted  design and engineering procedure. Up to 2002, WEC has entered into  more than forty foreign contracts, the total value of the contract have surpassed one hundred million US dollars with more than twenty countries including America, Canada, England, Holland, France, Germany, Spain, Finland, Norway, Italy, Denmark, Russia, Japan, Korea, Thailand,  Pakistan, Bengal, Vietnam, Indonesia, Iran and Iraq.
    By professional and flexible ways, WEC either provides item wised engineering service such as engineering design, procurement, construction, project management, site service or LSTK contracting according to the requirement of client.
